Hello Guys,
In this Blog post I'm going to share some information on the e-Shram card that most people are applying for. Over Crores of people have already got their e-Shram card means there are Over 30 Crores of people in India who are labors/helper or unemployed.
As we all know the situation of past Lockdown that the Migrant Workers has faced, they have been in very tough situation as we saw in Newspaper, Government Could not provide the necessary help to them because of not having proper data. Keeping this in Mind Government has Launched eshram Portal to help Migrant Workers more easily.
What is e- Shram Card?
eShram Card is Launched by Ministry of Labor and Employment. The main reason behind launching this scheme was to collect the data of all migrant labors and helpers throughout the country. Already peoples have registered for this Scheme to avail some benefits which the govt will provide in Future. Using this Card Peoples (Small Scale Workers, Helpers) will get direct Govt Services. Workers who are currently working in any Sector can avail this Scheme and apply for it. They can get their eShram Card immediately after the registration is Done.
What are the benefits of e- Shram Card?
In terms of Benefits Workers may get Accidental Insurance for up to 2 Lakhs, other benefit is that they will have Job Opportunities in various Government or Non-Government Services.
There have been rumors in Public that they will get thousands of moneys using this Card, but this isn't official news, the Govt hasn't confirms any kind of money distribution yet.

What is the Eligibility for e- Shram Card?
Read the following Conditions and if you think you are eligible then go for it:
- Age Limit: 16 Years - 59 Years Old.
- You aren't member of EPFO and ESIC.
- You Don't pay Income Tax.
- last, you are not working in Organized Sector.
Documents required to apply for e- Shram Card
- Aadhaar Card (Mobile Number must be linked to your Aadhaar)
- Qualification Cert. (Optional)
- Caste Cert. (Optional)
- Ration Card Details (Optional)
- Bank Details (Account Number, Account holder Name, IFSC Code)
- Aadhaar of any relative to make Nominee.
How to Apply for e- Shram Card?
Follow the steps provided below to Apply for e- Shram Card Online:
- Firstly, Go to Govt. e-Shram Portal by Clicking here >> Click Me.
2. After Visiting Web Page will be open like this:
3. Enter Your Mobile Number which is linked to your Aadhaar Card.
4. Enter the Captcha as shown and click on Get OTP.
5. You will receive OTP Soon, Enter and Click on Validate.
6. After Validating, now you have to Enter your 12 Digit Aadhaar Number.
7. Select your Verification mode like Fingerprint/ Iris Scan/ OTP. (Go with Fingerprint Verification Method if you're not receiving OTP from UIDAI.)
8. After Verification of Aadhaar, now you have to Enter some more details in 5 Steps. Following are the steps:
- Your Personal Particular as per Aadhaar
- Personal Information
- Address
- Education Qualification
- Occupation and Skills
- Bank Details
- Preview Self Declaration
- Get your UAN (e-Shram Card)
9. Now, Enter your personal details like Alternative Mobile Number, Email, Marital Status, Father Name, Social Category, Blood Group, Differently Abled etc. Next Fill Nominee Details, you can make Nominee to anyone in your relatives. After that Click on Save & Continue.
9. Then Fill your Address details like House Number, Locality, state, District, Sub District, Pin Code, etc After filling Information click on Save & Continue.
10. In Next Step, you will have to fill your Qualification Details and Monthly Income Slab. (If you have Educational Certificate & Income Certificate then Upload in PDF File on Portal) After Filling Click on Save & Continue.
11. Now in this step you will have to fill your Occupation details If you are engaged in 2 works select second occupation also. After Selecting again Click on Save & Continue
Download OR View this PDF file to search your Occupation Type.
12. Now if your Aadhaar is linked to any Bank Account it will fetch the details if no account is linked to your Aadhaar then you have to enter Accout Number, IFSC Code etc. Manually.
13. Now in Preview page check your details Correctly and after checking all the details proceed to Submit.
14. Hurry, now you will be able to see your eshram UAN Card. You can Download as a PDF File or Make a Physical Card to have a proof of it.

Conclusion
I have already written features of this Card, but in my point of view the Govt. has taken a good decision for Labors to collect the data. This will help govt. to track labors and provide benefits to them.
This card is only for Workers who are currently working in Unorganized sector.
